SESSIONAL FAMILY SUPPORT WORKERS WANTED IN THE AREAS OF DONEGAL; SLIGO
AND MAYO; LEITRIM AND ROSCOMMON.
The Family Support Worker will contribute to the planning and
evaluation of individualised programmes of care to support foster
placements, which are based on needs, identified in consultation with
the child, foster carer and social worker and multidisciplinary team.
The role will also include the provision of direct day to day support
and mentoring to foster carers and young people, including
implementing daily household routines and tasks, helping with
transporting children to and from school/appointments/access,
supervising family access and providing direct support to children to
help them develop social, developmental and emotional age appropriate
skills.
This sessional position will be paid on an hourly rate in line with
the HSE Family Support Worker PayScale. Travel expenses will be
reimbursed in line with company policy.
